Primero Pro Flexible Waterproofing Slurry

Product Description:

Primero Pro Flexible Cementitious Waterproofing Slurry is a two-component product that when mixed together, forms a thick, spreadable slurry to waterproof bathrooms, balconies, plant boxes, gutters and roof decks.

Surface Preparation:

Surfaces must be clean and free from standing water. Remove any grease, dirt, dust and loose material. Ensure that surface is sound. Hack off cement droppings and repair honeycombs using aqua plug or fast setting cement.

Mixing:

Open dry powder (part A) into a clean container. Pour all of liquid (part B) into cement powder mixture. Let soak for 2 minutes and mix well, preferably using an electric mixer to form a slurry like consistency. Ensure that there are no lumps present. Pot life is 2 to 3 hours depending on temperature and weather conditions.

Application:

Use a trowel, a stiff or Tampico brush. Apply first coat while surface is damp. If surface is dry, spray water to dampen. You may pre-stripe corners and edges, as well as areas with visible cracks. Apply first coat horizontally. Let dry for 2 to 3 hours. Apply second coat vertically. The coats should have a thickness of 1 to 2mm.

Coverage:

• Approx. 1.3 kg/m2 for bathroom, terrace, balconies and ext.
• Approx. 2 kg/m2 as protective coating.

Storage:

• Store in a dry cool place.
